Hello eveyone

Artemis is now 14mths old & a bobby dazzler! He does get through the dog beds though - it costs us a fortune. He tends to 'dig' his bedding & as soon as a tiny hole appears he opens the whole thing up & I rush out to buy yet another new bed!!

At the moment he has 3 blankets in his bed to keep him cosy in the cold winter weather but would like to see if Santa can bring him a propper bed. :santa:

Does anyone know where I can get an indestructable bed?

Thanks

Kate

 tell me when you find one i cant leave my two alone with ther beds or this happens :- "

Maybe not indestructable, but alot cheaper than most beds....

You can get kids quilts in Lidl for about £7.99, well padded and a great size for dogs, can be doubled over for smaller ones. They fit into the washing machine as well if they last long enought to need a wash!

the one i won on tillys auction is fantastic (w00t)

mine do the same , dig dig dig untill they get a hole then rip it to shreds

but the one i got off here i would say is the stongest ive ever seen , waterproof too and the dogs love it

his user name on here is jimdewhurst and im sure his website is www.jppets.co.uk

very reasonably priced

you would be hard pressed to destroy it

but where whippets are concerned i dont think ANYTHING is totally indestructable

We need to see an updated pic of Artimus! Great to hear that he is doing well - would love to see how he looks now and if he and Zair still look similar? My latest pics of Zair are on here and were taken about 2 weeks ago - doesn't seem possible they are now 14 months old! The pups from Basil and Sox were certainly a lovely litter and the pups seem to have done really well.

Well its not a very attractive bed but we've got one of those cheap plastic moulded beds which we fill with cheap blankets, fleeces and throws from argos, ikea etc. The dogs love it, they even have a little go at chewing it as well but they don't get very far

Lenny used to destroy every bed we gave him, the worst ones being the bean bags (w00t) looks like we've all experienced the 'snowstorm' effect :clown:

Other than that, they have a crate, also filled with blankets and a nice bed in the living room, for supervised sleeping only!!! We have given up on soft beds forever :p

We definitely need pics of Artemis please ................... Basil isnt too bad where beds are concerned and actually seems happiest crammed in the gap between my bed and the floor. Its quite alarming hearing him squidge himself under there, with his elbows dragging on the floor

Rosie, on the other hand, is a nightmare with beds. She will go for months just sleeping on them and then all of a sudden she creates fluff storms  . They now have cheapie duvets or blankets from the charity shops, so when things get dirty or too bedraggled, they are just thrown away .

Pictures of the boy though please

Hi there

Artie is just the same!! He gets himself in the smallest gaps - don't know how he does it but he tries to sleep in our little Westie's bed - much to her dismay

Just posted pics!!
