I wish I had more hobbies, but I just can't get enthusiasm for anything but wildlife and nature. Even my gardening is geared to wildlife
Those are lovely interests as they are important to you. I bet your garden attracts a lot of wildlife.

I love a word puzzle! I have heard of Wordle but would have to check how you play it!!
You have six chances to guess a five letter word. The puzzle tells you whether you have any correct letters - a green letter is the correct letter in the correct place. A yellow letter is the correct letter, but in the wrong place. By a process of logic and elimination, you work out what the word is.

A lot of people use the word ADIEU as a starter, as it shows so many vowels. I like DATES or LATER as I think these consonants are commonly used. But, you will find what works for you.

I just had a go and only got 2 letters!!! I will have to try your tips. Can you find out what the word was if you didn't get it?

Ooh, OK, I got one of my dogs out on a hike small enough to post. These two are about the worst posers I've ever had! We have finally mastered 'hop up, sit & stay' (at least most of the time) but 'look at me' is still a work in progress.

That's Felix on the left, Ellie on the right.

I'm still working on getting a picture of my yard/garden/pond to be small enough to upload. (tech-impaired is my middle name! lol)

Oop! Well, there we go, I managed to shrink one down in Photoshop! Yay, me. :D I got this shot of a Milkweed Tussock Moth cat. this past week.
Ooh lovely! I also don't do Instagram, but do do Flickr (though I only have 3 followers) and Facebook. Here's a cuckoo bee in my garden today. I do like slightly odd-looking bugs, and those with attitude.

Well most of my time is taken looking after Murphy and George plus my OH who has FTD.
But walking is something we enjoy as a family and we are lucky enough to live in Friesland which has a large area of UNESCO world heritage sites.
I always have my camera with me I photograph what we see no posed or set up photos. I love to read and have a whole room dedicated to books and reading.
Ive written two books ( no longer in print) and Id love to try a third but that might be difficult at the moment.

So far I've had 14 different types of butterflies.
I have fox, hedgehogs, slow worms, newts, Damsels, some pretty snails at the bottom of the garden, tonnes of different birds and bees, plus all sorts of insects

Oddly, the ones that entertain me most are the wood pigeons that live in the front garden.........they are such character's

They look pretty well behaved to me, Parker my Colie x doesn’t sit still for a minute whenever I go to take a photo he either moves or just runs off I think he’s camera shy 🤣

FTD must be very difficult. My Mother-in-law passed away last week after a long struggle with dementia. It is good to hear that you enjoy walking together as a family. Photography is a wonderful hobby and a lovely way to capture memories. How wonderful to have written 2 books. What genre were they?

Your garden sounds like its own nature reserve. You must enjoy sitting back and watching everything going on.
