Hello all, this is Dave. He is a 9.5wk old tri-coloured english cocker spaniel...we have had him home for just over a week now, tho it feels like forever already. Dave has very big shoes to fill as we sadly lost Ruby our 13.5yr old tri-coloured english cocker spaniel at the begining of august. Hes already doing a great job of filling our hearts and home with lots of love, fun & laughter again...GOOD BOY!!

What lovely dogs. I just adore Dave's tummy - there's something about puppy tums that makes me all soft!

Oooohhhhh! I get so puppy broody when I see these, are they the litter any of your dogs is from @excuseme? I don't think Timber would take well to a little step brother or sister but if it wasn't for that I'd love another puppy. These are gorgeous!

Yes, 2 litters 3 days apart. We kept the golden girl on left hand side and blue roan girl in the middle of bottom row. (both had different mums but the same dad). The picture was taken 5 years ago

excuseme...what a beautiful group shot of the puppies...are they cockers?

i still get amazed just how much the colours of cockers change over time...heres how our angel Ruby developed with age :0)

Yes all cockers, (working type) We have never managed to produce a tri colour though!

The puppy picture was after the puppies had had a glorious time playing quiet hard. Without any notice they all seemed to just "crash out" and we could do anything with them while they had their exhausted sleeps. We searched the garden and found all of the puppies sleeping in different places, so picked them up and put them in a heap. It made a lovely picture ! (none of them woke up while being moved ). Great fun! :))

Dear Dave! he is lovely. it is amazing how much puppies change and grow in their first few weeks

excuseme...its funny you should say that, the breeder we got Dave off has been breading cockers for 18yrs & has 8 of her own who she works in the winter months but this was her first ever tri litter. Rubys breeder said the very same thing 13.5yrs ago too. everyone says how lucky we are to have now had 2 tri babies, we didnt intend it that way, just went with breeders each time who we felt comfortable with & were raising the pups in a loving family/home environment. Daves mum (top pic) was a blue roan but very pale & his dad (bottom pic) was a blue roan but very dark so i dont know where the tri came from!

great pic! so cute!!
