Sid came into rescue with the most terrible wounds to his legs, these were so serious that amputation was considered. He has recovered well from his injuries and is now in his foster home. He is a lovely cream and tan colour, smooth coated, 26" to the shoulder and approximately 15months old.

Sid had made himself very comfortable in his foster home, he gets on well with everyone he meets including younger children. He has decided that the sofa is his own and will sigh and stare at anyone who is sitting there. He is a very handsome, affectionate young dog who loves his food, going for walks, playing with his toys and tennis balls, jumping around in snow, running up and down the garden and sleeping on his back. But most of all he loves cuddles and tickles on the sofa. He has learnt a few basic commands and knows to ask to go outside for his toilet.

Like most Lurchers he is very interested in small furry animals and would not be suitable for homing with a cat. He has of course been neutered

If you would like to know more about Sid, please go to www.lurcher.org.uk/ Look under contact details where you will find phone numbers for Pip and Linda
