Went for a walk around the local gravel pits today with our 3 and thought I would try and capture one of the dogs jumping over a small ditch to get back on the footpath.

What I didnt expect was for Lucy to put in such a spring heeled leap - not sure how high she jumped but she nearly jumped off the picture LOL. :p

Wish they had a dog high jump at Crufts

Yes was thinking they look a bit like horses jumping the birch - though Kiah looks almost like a Gazelle on hers

Lucy's off to ring craft tonight like her sister Zana - will let you know how she gets on.

How tall are Lucy and Zana now? Kendall is 19.5"

He is doing well at his obdience classes, he has been promoted out of puppy class now. He does get away with things though - the trainer said he can get away with things because he is his favourite in the class!!! One cute look and everyone melts.

How do you catch those picsa- if I try to get ones on the move we either miss him or get a blur!

Its certainly not easy to get good shots Nicky, plenty of patience required and an eye for capturing a good shot, plus plenty of sunlight usually to avoid blurring as the camera will use a faster shutter speed.

At least with digital cameras you can instantly review them onscreen and delete the duff ones and try again - with film it was always hit and miss and very disappointing when you got them back usually!

Keep practising and you will get some good shots.

Not sure how high Lucy is - will have to check but she is certainly at the leggy stage :D
