hi I've recently taken on a Westie pup called Freddie. I got him at 10 weeks he is now 3 and a half month and I am now beginning to think he may be a cross. he is 11 inches from his collar to the base of his tail. his head looks narrow compared to other westie pubs. he also has longer ears than the Westies I've seen. I have attached photos so would really appreciate some feed back. Chris.

Maybe a rough coated white jack russell? :p

If you wonna know so much you can get a DNA test ! :)

Did he come with KC papers from the breeder ? These will state his breed

He is very handsome whatever he turns out to be.

My friend has 2 pedigree Westies, one had long ears just like yours and the other has shorter ones I think it might just be different in each dog. If you're still concerned ask your vet he'll know best.

ok thanks alot. i love him either way just curious.

Defo looks westie eyes coat face but i can see your point with the ears lol id say he will defo hear the postman cuming from your next postcode lol. Getting back to your westie the more he grows the more you will.know. Keep us updated please. Also his nose looks westie but what do i know im a lurcherman lol

Looks like a westie to me, very cute either way.

What a beautiful pup! Looks like a westie to me! Your vet will be able to give you a better answer :)

looks very westie, their ears are meant to be big and pointy, my friends ones ears always look massive, when she's just been clipped.

The ears do look a bit large to me, but then he's growing and different body parts grow at different speeds so huge ears this week may look in proportion by next week.

He's very bonny, either way round :)

he goes for regular checks the vests he is currently 15 weeks and ways 3kg the vet says he right on weight however I have looked online and some web sites suggest that he should be around 4.5kgs now. other people suggest that Westie put weight on quickly around 5months?
