Finally sorted Oreos petlog microchip.

I registered for the life service so that we can update the details in case we have new numbers etc.

However it says that the microchip was implanted in mid 2006 yet Oreo wasn't born (according to the RSPCA) until December 2007.

Have the RSPCA made it up, as they seemed pretty sure of her exact date of birth!

Be a shame if she's older than we thought :(

the rspca are a crooked bunch of money making buisness toffs. to think i defended them for many years.

Care to share?

I suspect they've propably changed her age slightly to make her more adoptable.

in stayin out of the rspca thing for now. bluewrecking is ur man with the goss on them but so many bad storys to be told.

maybe the person who surrendered her fibbed a bit so they wouldn't have her pts. The rspca have a disgustingly high kill rate, for dogs over 4 or 5, and any stray. If you want to make yourself cry like a girl google 'rspca bolt gun'. They are a bunch of money grabbing, decietful, crooks, and that is no lie......

When we had her we suspected her age was a little older but went with it.

All her paperwork says she is six this year but her microchip date would make her at least 8 which means I lose a few benefits with her insurance.

Perhaps I'll keep quiet on this one ;)

It doesn't matter n the scheme of things as we'd have had her anyway, it would have just been nice to get the truth.

I didn't realise how bad RSPCA are, I have supported them a little over the years so a little disappointed to hear the comments.

I will have a google and see what I come up with.

you will be reading a lot of bad stuff but saying that if your looking for bad stuff you will find bad stuff, over the years ive had to call them out a few times and the responce time was good i thought but its changed so much now with there main aim is money and taking peeps to court on stupid things, now im not saying dont go to court if its ill treatment then i want them fined and banned, like ive said ive defended them on so many on sites and still say they do a bit of good but ive had my eyes opened now on many times, the dogs trust is the one who CARES.

hate to disagree with you lurcherman but my dealings with the Dogs Trust have made me vow never to deal with or donate to them EVER!! I cannot comment on RSPCA as I dont know enough about them, I live in Scotland and have to say all dealings I've had with SSPCA through work and my personal life have left me feeling very good about what they do in very difficult circumstances as their hands are tied due to the stupid laws we have in this country restricting what they can and can't do.
