Back from a trip to the vets and it turns out Moany Moany suffered a dislocated toe yesterday that luckily went back in again straight away though sadly she tore the medial ligaments along the outside of the toe so understandably there is a very large swelling around the knuckle joint.
Sadly no club teams for Moany Moany (sorry Manton) and with the championships being only 4 weeks away I doubt she will be at them either. It's the third year she has been eligable for the event and sadly now the third year she will be unable to compete.
With only one Fed straight championship competition under her belt when she was 16mths old she's got to be one of the unluckiest whippets I have known now missing three out of four major championships this year.
