well hello all! the baby has taken to sleeping in the afternoons now so i thought i had better make the effort to become a member as i am losing touch with the whippet world.

Her name wasnt Mrs Green was it :lol:

I always used to sit at the back of the class because thats where the heating pipes were and if you had the chair on the back legs only (w00t) you could put your hands on the pipes :- " Anyhow , one day I was busy chatting with my mate Edwina ,( no surely not !) hands on pipes when suddenley a board rubber hit me on the head , I fell backwards and split my head open on the pipes (w00t) ( See now you know why Im a bit `potty` )

Mrs Green was in a major panic , but no stitches needed( they said ) We were alot tougher in those days you know and when I got home and told mum about it , she said I should have been paying attention to the class any way . Could you imagine the sinario now aday s , child abuse . court and maybe imprisionment , and that would be for me ! :lol: Just show how things have changed , needles to say she WAS very sorry about it , but it DIDNT stop me talking did it :- "
