This was a fantastic race with the 1st 3 home having less than foot between 'em, and the 4th being just on the bum of the 3rd.

The Jack Cadnam Final is as follows.

1. Oscars Pride 24 (well done)

2. Colorado 26 (One day, Jake and Mary :D )

3. Red Reign 28 (thanks fella, you've ran great)

4. Sing For Me 22 (thanks Phil for stepping for the photo)

Thanks all for coming, it was great...

Regards,

Paul

Just a quick thank you to all you racers who travelled down to Thurrock for the Jack Cadman. Although the entry was not enormous, those that did attend had some class dogs with them, so the racing was of a very high standard.

It was a pleasent week-end, the weather was lovely, and the people were really nice and friendly, it only goes to prove that whippett racing can be an enjoyable passtime if people would only make the effort to get along with each other.

It was good to see some of the racers from the other end of the country, I think Ricky said it took him 7hrs to get there, it also must have taken John Noble a fair few hours too.

To those of you who are going to Devon good luck, I hope you all have a good holiday and successfull racing, injury free then you can all get your dogs ready for the club teams.

kind regards to you all Doreen

Ricky must have been in the flintstones mobile  as it only took myself and sue 5 1/2 hours when we left seaham after the lord byron, and that was a good days racing also, with friendly people and good atmosphere

debbie

Yeah, Ricky does tell a fib or two :) Still. he was one of the stars on Sat night, I reckon he enjoys that more than the racing...

Regards,

paul

yep he loves an audience Paul :D you just have to humor the old sod  :D :D :D :D :D :D

what a weekend a blinder good laugh and crack and company by the way ricky make sure you bring some extra fags with you save me buying any lol yeah it was a good weekend everyone worked well together and the entertainment was good as well. the next weekend we have would like to see more of our freinds from up and down of the country you were missed, but it was hard being so close to the champs and the cost to have another weekend away.well done to all the winner,s.
