Ok here is just one pic of James and Bill together, taken half hour after they met.....

We have had to step in a couple of times as James is a real softie and little Bill has been shaking James by the throat already...I've stopped all wrestling and will only let them play chase or with toys.....Bill obviously doesn't yet know what the boundaries are and he's a very confident pup......mind you, Bryn has already fixed him and put a tiny nick in his ear...he is now being much more careful around the whippets...but James is too sweet and let Bill rag him and even cried but didn't tell Bill off,so I picked Bill up and popped him in his crate for a break...he is sleeping there now. I assume I was right to intervene and to not be letting them wrestle?

I have absolutely no idea on the etiquette of introducing new pups but just wanted to say....WOW...isn`t he cute!!!

I know, we took several but none of them look very nice, he's either a blur or looks angry (w00t) . I'll take a load tomorrow morning after Bill has been to see the vet for a check up

How's moonpig coping?

Moonpig had a nibble at him earlier but has taken to my bed in disgust....she says she'll come back downstairs when its gone (w00t) , it's going to be a long week.

Im not sure how far your supposed to let pup's go before you

step in. But Tala gets Zana by the throat, makes her gag and

cry. I stop her i can't sit and watch her doing it to poor Zan.

thanks for all the messages.......my husband thinks that James will tell Bill off in good time. No dog is born aggressive, Bill just needs to learn where the boundaries are.....also today Bill got bitten twice by Bryn...no blood was drawn but Bill screamed and is much much more careful around the whippets...he is definitely more respectful of the older dogs but i'm quite confident he will get bitten again before he grows up!!!!

James learnt in much the same way but James was far less full on than Bill...we had James from seven weeks whereas Bill is ten weeks so he has gone on longer with no rules...

They have been playing loads and chasing around....James is still a bit wary and has been quite grumbly today but all going pretty well so far.....

Bill already asks to go back in the dog crate when he's tired and needs a sleep and has been completely clean in doors since yesterday afternoon..back at work tomorrow so will be interesting to see what happens!!!

he was checked by the vet today and given his first vaccination and he was wormed as well because he has a slightly bloaty belly and a bit of blood in his poo, nothing much to worry about though and was given clean bill of health.

Bill was as good as gold last night and I got up at 3.20 this morning because James asked to be let out,Bill went too and did all his business then went back in his crate until 7.30 this morning and was quiet as a mouse!!!

I haven't had time to take any pictures today but there will be plenty of times this week.
