Thanks, he is lovely, he took it all in his stride too, bit sleepy last night but totally unfazed by the bucket really!

Bless him, they always look so forlorn in their lampshades, but James still manages to look cute :huggles:

I'm sure he'll be back to his normal naughty self in no time

Ah, bless

Beagles have a wonderful way of looking so downtrodden

Oh bless his little paws :huggles: He is just as gorgeous as ever  How old is he now?

he is five and a half months old...with the agreement of my vets he was castrated at the same time as having a GA to remove a baby tooth which was troubling him and to have his eyelids properly examined. I took the decision not to wait until he was six months old.

Aww bless, James is looking very sorry for himself. He is such a gorgeous boy

He is growing up so fast!!! I wouldn't imagine a couple of weeks would have made any difference. At least it's over and done with now and the same GA was used for all, rather than putting him under again in a couple of weeks time

Is he being a good boy or does he still have his lamp shade on :-

We couldn't wait another couple of weeks, the vet who operated on him was the specialist veterinary opthalmologist and we asked for him to be castrated while she had him out for the eyes to be re-assessed..we had one chance for her to see him otherwise we would have waited weeks..his tooth would not have waited weeks and would have meant two lots of GA. He has got quite tall already and there appears to be more growing to be done yet..he's a wopping 13kilos at the moment but unlike Parker, this fella has no fat on him, well only the puppy kind.
