iam just wondering if anyone as feedsjameswellbeloved complete dog food .and is it worth paying the extra money for.

I do, and yes, I reckon it is. I like the fact that it is hypo-allergenic and so unlikely to cause any problems of that kind. Burns is very good too, and about the same price. My cats also have it, and they are in good nick - three of them are about 13 years old and going strong. My previous dog was given it for years and years and it suited him very well. Cheap brands of dog food have the most revolting things in them, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Ingredient list taken from wellbeloved web site the majority ingredient is rice and then lamb meat meal which is made at rendering plants, where animal carcasses are cooked in vats at very high temperatures. The grease is skimmed off (and added back in later, as fat), and what's left is dehydrated until it's a dry product. Then, the rendering plant ships the meal to brokers, who sell it to pet food manufacturers, who mix it with other ingredients, so in effect the meat meat could be produced in any country across the world

Ingredients: Rice, lamb meat meal, ground whole barley, whole linseed, lamb fat, lamb gravy, sugar beet pulp, alfalfa, sodium chloride, natural seaweed, calcium carbonate, chicory extract, lysine, D,L-methionine, yucca extract, threonine, JWB special ingredients.

Contains: Min 26% lamb, min 26% rice, min 14% barley.

Typical analysis: Protein 20%, oil 10%, fibre 4%, ash 8.5%, omega-3 fatty acids 1.1%, omega 6 fatty acids 1.1%.
