JAMIE

Jamie is a big greyhound boy who is almost 4 years old. He is mainly white with some pretty brindle patches on his head and rear end! He is a striking fellow and quite an eye catcher.

Sweet Jamie is a happy go lucky boy and mixes well with the other greyhounds in the kennels. He is quite people-orientated and aims to please. He walks beautifully on the lead and adores getting out and about on his walks. Jamie is not cat friendly and has not yet been tested with small dogs. This can be carried out prior to adoption if requested.

**UPDATE 05/2010a**

Lovely Jamie has sadly spent his 4th birthday in kennels awaiting his forever home. He is a truly gorgeous big lad who relishes getting fuss and attention. He gets on good with our other greyhounds, though seems to be a ladies man at heart and loves his girlfriends!

Jamie stands at 29 inches to the shoulder. He is not cat friendly.

**UPDATE 05/2010b**

Jamie has now travelled across to the UK where he is waiting for his forever home in kennels in Norfolk. He can be a bit grumpy with other entire male dogs, and we feel he would do well either as an only dog or with a female friend to keep him company. This gorgeous big boy really deserves his chance to experience the home comforts, and we hope it wont be too long before he finds his forever home now.

If you are interested in adopting Jamie, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. We don’t think you will regret it!

**UPDATE 05/2010c**

Jamie has settled nicely in to the new kennels in Norfolk, and is adjusting well to the new routine. This gorgeous big boy really deserves his chance to experience the home comforts, and hopefully he will get his forever home soon.

**UPDATE 07/2010**

Lucky Jamie is now in a foster home where he is getting to experience the joys and comforts of a home for the very first time. He is doing very well and is the perfect gentleman around the house. He is starting to come out of his shell and is turning out to be a real clown, keeping his fosterers well amused. He is a big smiley boy now and has developed a passion for shoe collecting! He never chews his ‘bounty’, though likes to gather his finds in the garden which is not really ideal when it’s raining!

Jamie is sharing his foster home with two female greyhounds, who he has grown very attached to. He is learning how to play and is becoming a proper cheeky boy. He is also very good when out on walks and meets other dogs politely as long as they aren't overly dominant. He needs a bit more practice seeing and meeting smaller dogs, but is in general a very good boy.

Jamie is not a greedy lad and doesn’t counter surf, steal food or raid the rubbish bins. His housetraining is coming along nicely, and he is ok to be left with other dogs for company. We feel Jamie would do well in a range of home types – with children, as an only dog, or perhaps with another female dog (or two!) for company.

Jamie boy is in foster care in Norfolk, UK. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

If you are interested in adopting Jamie, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our adoption application form and information pack. Thanks!
