well, josh, my 6yr old, was off school the week prior to half term with chicken pox, which he loved, i can tell you-2wk holiday: YAY

during which time i was praying the other two would catch it, so that it would be done and dusted by the time they had to go back to school. nothing doing...

until last night. both my 7yr old, james, and my 5yr old jayanna are now covered from head to toe, so guess who will also get a 2wk holiday

lucky i quite like the smell of calamine lotion

oh no, kids ahe........will do anything for more days off school

my 3 all had the pox when they were under 2 years old, and didnt suffer with it at all.

hope they are ok............and i hope YOU cope ok

poor you lalena!!! :huggles:

I REMEMBER WHEN MINE HAD IT , ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO , MY MIDDLE ONE GOT IT FIRST , SHE WAS 5 AT THE TIME , 2 WEEKS LATER TO THE DAY MY YOUNGEST ONE GOT IT THEN EXACTLY 2 WEEKS AFTER THAT MY OLDEST ONE GOT IT (w00t)

I HAD 6 WEEKS OF IT IN TOTAL , WHY CANT THEY ALL CATCH IT AT ONCE :D

been quite an epidemic at their school. the friday that josh got sent home, 11 others in his class came down too. on the monday, half the school was off with it, which was quite shocking.

i had been trying to give it to them from friends kids over the years, but they never caught it while younger, sadly. josh is going to have a couple of good scars now as a result, which he seems quite proud of :x
