I would like to inform racers who intended travelling to Thurrock this Sunday that due to the adverse weather conditions the track is to dangerous to chance running our dogs on. As any racers know who have visited Thurrock, we do the best we can by watering the pick up, but I am afraid with the forecast for the next few days offering very little in the way of rain and thirty degrees forecast for Sunday nothing we can do will make any difference.

The event will now be scheduled for the 3 September the only date available to us in September. Hopefully, now we have time to put it in the Whippet News as our sponsors have done us proud with beautiful trophies and £500 added prize money and deserve for the event to be well advertised.
