When it's hot, Jasper likes to dig a crater in the border so he can settle down on cool earth. Finally, we have sort of taught him that there is one place he's allowed to do this. Not that he won't start digging elsewhere, but we can redirect him to 'his' place before he's destroyed a large shrub, got soil all over the lawn, and is halfway to Australia
