joke of the day is this woman refused to sign her dogs over to the rspca for rehoming so they had to keep them at a cost of over 200,000 pounds until the case came to court.she was found guilty and fined 100 pounds!

she kept whippets in these cages too as well as the little breeds :(

The film of this was on my local news last night. I cried when I saw it, it was horrendous.

very very sad.... and only £100 !!!!

but how on earth did it cost over £200,000 to keep them?

the rspca had to take all the dogs and keep them for the period of time it took for the case to come to court this can sometimes be months or ever a year or more.the feed and kenneling bills will soon add up for a large amount of dogs like this :(

Poor animals! the bitch shouldve bin jailed or made to pay the bill through community service!

THE  BITCH NEEDS SHOOTING ,NO BETTER STILL,HANGING AND REALLY THAT'S TOO GOOD FOR HER.THE RSPCA NEEDS TO HAVE MORE LAW GIVEN TO THEM TO HAVE CASES LIKE THIS AND BE ABLE TO TAKE THE DOGS STRAIGHT AWAY FROM THE PERSON THERE AND THEN,NOTSOMETIMES LEAVING IT TILL IT'S TOO LATE FOR ALL THE ANIMALS.LADY P

I think it said on the TV news that it had taken two years for the case to come to court, on the late news last night, at the start of the bulletin they showed a clip and one of the cages had whippets in, but that part was not in the piece they showed in the programme. They also had film of some Yorkies, a Jack Russell and a LH Dachshund they will be able to re-home now the case is over. The little JR was such a sweetheart.
