Not only heard of it but used to watch it, I remember it as a quite un-funny American show starring amongst others Goldie Hawn

Thats explains it then , I never watch anything even remotely american co,medy wise . The canned laughter is enough to make any one turn to another channel . :oops: Steve Martin , Jim Carey YUK YUK :x :x Lucile Ball double yuk

Do you mean you didn't watch Mr ED? My Favorite Martian? The Beverley Hillbillies? Green Gables? The Munsters? If so you will realy enjoy the filum The Reluctant Astronaut with Don Knox - talk about Laugh ---------------------- it was all you could do as the filum wasn't funny. Saw it twice (it was the second feature when filum theatreas had more than one filum on and the prgramME changed twice weekly.

I do agree about Steve Martin. Jim Carey (who ever told him he was funny should be shot) & Dubya.

Bit I did enjoy I Love Lucy (apart from Desi Arnez).

Mr Ed was brilliant!!! And Champion the Wonder Horse and Fury (can't remember what the name of the programme actually was) and of course, best of the lot ........................

I said American COMEDY ( canned laughter etc ,) never mentioned American films or other TV .

I just loved MASH , Cagny and Lacey , Starky and Hutch , Smith and Jones and loads of other american stuff ,
