Had my first judging appointment last night at a local limit show where all the proceeds went to a childrens hospice. I did the Hounds, was very nervous! but i think i did ok (w00t) . Although none of my chosen ones went BIS or BPIS the Afghan i choose was short listed for the final line up for BIS.

It felt weird being on the opposite side! i know now what it feels like and it has made me apperciate judges alot more :thumbsup: .

Does anyone else remeber their first Judging appointment and how they felt?

you did,nt look the least bit nervous.Good job done i,m sure the club will be very happy with you,r judging. :cheers: Good luck with any future appointments.Summer was not happy with me when i went home i tried to explain that she could not go under the breeder but did,nt make any difference.Got round her eventually with some smoked sausage which she loves.

Sorry we missed it too... we would have valued your opinion, glad you enjoyed it. We had plans to come down and have a go but Robyn (the junior handler!) has been away all week. We're off to a companion show at Roseilse this weekend we've heard it's a lovely show and it'll be great outside if the weather stays like this eh?

I might be at roseilse on sunday julie will take keano along but wont be showing him. Dad might be showing keano brother and his dad, we'll wait and see.
