Just Been To The Vets For Ultrasound

    Aaah - just seen the loveliest sight at the vets. Two small puppies wriggling around, both with heart beats. Vet couldn't tell manually whether she was or wasn't as they were both tucked up high and at the back. Vey excited and can't wait, vet says she is in excellent condition and doing everything right. They were soooo cute. :*

    Aaah no, must always be exuberant about new life, especially after the sadness on K9 recently - it's what keeps that world turning. Keep us posted on your babies. :wub:

    Great news. Should be nice strong puppies. I hope they do not grow too large it they are a first litter.

    It is lovely to have some good news. it has been such a sad week.

    Just because he only saw 2 there MIGHT be more . I had one scaned where we saw 5 and she had 7 :thumbsup:

    Still 2 is a lovely number for a first litter , good luck with them ,and dont forget we need loads of pics

    On Diamonds first litter the vet said 4 or 5 and she had 8. It is possible for them to hide ;)

    I didn't have one this time around and by palpating the vet just said a few!

    :luck: good luck for you too, its such an exciting time and do let me know how you get on. Will keep my fingers crossed that the scan got it right or else you will be in for some really hard work ;)

    Crumbs - how pregant was she when you took het to the vet - coz at 5 weeks (which she is now) he couldn't feel any!!
