Kate is a small brindle lurcher who was rescued from a pound in Northern Ireland and rehomed via Inishowen rehoming, County Donegal (just over the border from Derry). Recently Kate and the other bitch in the household have not been getting on well. I think her first adopter has been trying for about a month now to find a new home via the rescue and I hear she is getting very impatient. Kate's very nice, but it sounds like she'd best go to a home on her own or with a male dog.

"This pretty and affectionate girl is looking for a new home as she no longer gets on with the other female whippet in the house. She loves people and to play with other dogs (maybe just not with other girls) Has a very loving and chilled temperament. Contact Inishowen Rehoming if you are interested and Pls share if you know someone who is looking for a good cuddler!"

I think Kate got rehomed again some time ago.

The pound which she was rescued from, Carrickfergus Co Antrim, is currently bursting at the seams and desperately needs to get some dogs adopted or out to rescue organisations. I know this is a problem for most pound, but Carrickfergus plainly keeps as many dogs alive as long as they can. I see a couple of male Rottweilers on the list who have been looking for two months plus. There are three female sighthounds in the current photoalbum and there are a couple of dozen new inmates about to have photos posted at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gales-Doggie-Page/131566503588504

(if you can help. contact the pound directly, not Gale who posts the photos and descriptions on facebook)

Ok thanks for the heads up, they dont have a specific 'rehoming' photo album on the fb page so i wasnt sure if she was gone or not.
