Dont know where the man lived, but as usual you always remeber the dog more ! she was a top open class winner. And if I remeber he usest to put a box in the trap and use it as a kick board.

Right Graham ---the answer to your question

----after much research and a chat with Steve and Julie Bateson they have informed me that it was at swallowsnest

It was a man with a dog called Mac The Knife that had the first one which was only a flat board with slats on and he took sup on that day using it -----

then others brought different variations of them until the in his (words ) not mine they had the bend kick-boards ---monstrosities --

hope this helps he could not remember the chaps name ---but i am sure someone will tell us ----

He also sends his best wishes to my mate John Meades and others he used to race with --and wishes those -happy new year ---he and Julie have had a great Christmas --and a couple of nice wins ---

Steve Boyd news at ten reporting :D :- "

I used to sweep his chimney, and I think his name was Mr Parker, and he lived in a bungalow on the outskirts of Chesterfield(Tupton).
