Hi everyone.
Its been a while since I posted here :b due to other commitments, but I wanted to update those interested on the progress of our lurcher girl, Koda.
In early May she damaged a rear leg in a nasty accident with a local farmer's cattle grid and up until then she wasn't too hot on the 'recall' command. Believe it or not some good came out of this experience!!! She now comes back when told to do so... a lesson learned by both of us (costing £129 at the vet - for treatment to her wound).
She has also got over her spaying, which took place in late May, but one thing we have noticed lately is: when she is running in the local fields she has a acquired a habit of racing up behind us and playfully nipping (very gently) at our ankles
She is not biting at us, but using her mouth in the same way a new mother would lift her pups.
If anyone has any idea how to explain/solve this behaviour I would be most grateful.
BFN
