Hi Stevo and welcome to DogForum :)

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm not sure that you're going to find anybody who deliberately breeds the cross that you're looking for, because if they have pedigree dogs they are far more likely to breed with their own breed if they're breeding deliberately. I think that most of the time when these crosses are found (as in, a first generation cross of 2 breeds, rather than a 'we don't know what it is' mongrel) they have come from an accidental breeding rather than a planned one, so finding another litter the same is not guaranteed to happen.

Another thing to bear in mind is that even if you did find one, there's no guarantee that the resultant puppies would have the same parts of each of the breeds as the dog you recently lost.

I once had to deal with a very dangerous young GSDxRottie who had been got as a replacement for a loved and lost old GSDxRottie, but unfortunately the dog that had been lost was mostly Rottie personality and was, therefore a laid back pudding, so they weren't ready for the hypervigilance and very loud guarding and sharpness of a GSD.

The result of this was that they didn't know how to train and teach him as he was going through puppyhood, and by the time he reached 14 months he was an under-exercised, under-trained, 50kg ball of energy, frustration, hormones, teeth and bad attitude who was attacking anybody who came near him. Although he would quite possibly have made a lovely dog after 6 months of work, sadly no specialist rescue space could be secured for him and he had attacked way too many people to be taken in a normal rescue, so he ended up being put to sleep.

Whilst this is a really extreme case of expectations not meeting realities, I can't state it enough that every animal has their own personality and even within the same breed one may not be at all like another.

My advice would be to talk to lots of different rescues and choose on the personality of the dog to fit in with your family, and then whatever size and shape that temperament happens to come in, take that one :)
