I decided to go and see the nurse at the vets and get some advice on the girls weight issue. This was 2 weeks ago. I thought I'd go with her diet plan which was Royal Canin  I know some of u disapprove of it but I thought well I'd give it a go. Well today the girls have been for their weigh in and Lacey has lost 1.1kg and Ruby has lost 1kg!!! It's so hard not giving them treats but I'm really sticking with it. Weigh in again in 2 weeks. I'll keep u posted xx

Well done girls keep it up, you'll soon be a couple of twiglets..........xx for Ruby from K

None of my dogs have ever had a weight problem but my neutered male cat did and the vet suggested Royal Canin dry for weight loss, explaining that cats were notoriously difficult to diet because of their hunting and neighbours feeding them. However, he has now lost 2kg, from 7kg down to 5kg, and looks fantastic! Good luck with your girls.

Toddy is on a special diet too. It is so hard not giving the little extras :)

That is great news - keep up the good work, it is obviously paying off :) .

Hope you don't mind me asking but what was their starting weight?
