Have never seen a dog lamping before....interesting.

Do you have to have permission from the land owner to do this...sorry for all the questions....curious into todays "pc" world as to what we are able to do with our sighthounds :- "

What do you do with the rabbits?

One of my whippets tries to catch the mice in the garden....no luck yet :- "

I think I will show him your video for some pointers (w00t)

Nice one REW,love the way he keeps trying to get himself between the ditch and the bunny.Shows his hearding instincts.Only problem i would have with this dog is that he doesnt drive the squatters, and prefers to stalk them like the collie does ,the sheep. If you could get him to drive the squatters, you'd have a much bigger catch rate.Im in no way getting at youre dog here, cause i recon he's quite good. Its just that when you have a dog that drive's the sqatters, rather than wanting to make them bolt and run,it can make life a lot easier,on man and beast. But hey ,thats just my opinion. One tip i'd like to give you though. When i made my lamping video, through trial and error,i found that when i eventualy sorted out the best way to work the lamp and camera,(which was joined together),as i work on my own.The results were brilliant,as there was no losing the footage at all, cause no matter where the rabbit and lamp went, the camera had to fallow. If you would like to PM me i will explain more about how i did this, and will arrange to send you a copy on DVD. i know what you meen and i agree with everything you say .i wish she would take squatters straight away and yes we do lose a few rabbits because of this.i will prefere a dog next time that will fly straight into the squatters giving them less time to think.also have you any pics of your setup mate and what camera do you use.
