Does anyone know of a solution to stop my two whippet boys from lifting their legs in the house? it happens after they have had their dinner, even when they are fed outside they come back into the house and lift their legs up the wall, im thinking it may be a dominance thing between them, bran has been neutered but tetley hasnt, any ideas please?

Can't help you there cos Blue coopies down when he goes!! Maybe an urine odour remover spray might help?

thanks for your reply, i have tried the spray to no avail, i guess il have to feed them at opposite ends of the garden and keep an eye on them when they come indoors, the little tinklers!

if you know they are going to do it, how about being armed with a water pistol and giving them a squirt just as they are about to?

Digit used to be a bugger (not at my house, just at other people's when we went visiting (w00t) ) Luckily i got very good at recognising the look on his face when he was sidling up to something with intent. A very loud sharp 'no' was usually enough to stop in his tracks

my next step up was to be a water pistol but i never needed to resort to it

mind they dont squirt back :- "

Mine did it once - had his breakfast then went straight into the living room and had a wee - now as soon as he has had his food, we go out into the garden and I shut the door behind us, so he can't go back in. At first he stood by the door and stared at me, but I encouraged him with the words I always use, and as soon as he'd been to the toilet I gave him lots of praise and opened the door immediately.

We had an overnight accidnt since then, but he always go outside for the toilet after meals now and fingers crossed seems to work.
