Sorry it's not as quick as usual, but here it is.
last but one time Richard showed under Mike Howgate was at this Championship show. Shame it lost it's Ch show status - it was a nice show.

Leicester City Canine Society – Monday, 28th August, 2006 Whippets

Thank you for your entry, in particular those who had brought puppies, there were some delightful youngsters, handled by youngsters which augurs well for the future. Dogs were to the fore today taking the principal placings. A couple of exhibitors who are regulars in the junior handling scene perhaps ought to consider giving their dogs a rest as a couple were looking particularly tired today and this definitely affected their performance.

Puppy (7,2) 1st Newton’s Nave of Spades of Nevedith – 6½mth dark brindle with white patches dog. He is stunning! He has a well framed head and good ears, set onto just the right length of neck. His shoulders are well set which gives him excellent front movement, with extension that allows him to cover the ground effortlessly. Body is of just the right proportion with a pleasing depth of chest, spring of ring, length of loin, leading into hindquarters that propulse him forward with drive giving impression that he his floating when on the move. His parallel movement is just as good when in profile. As the day went on he got better and better. Quite simply there was no other exhibit to touch him today and in the line up I had no hesitation whatsoever in giving him both BP and BOB, where he subsequently went G3, PG1 & BPIS. 2nd Hambling’s Whistjacket Pandora 3rd Mycroft’s Supeta’s Bootilicious Babe

Junior (4,0) 1st Whitaker-Crosby’s Mulcair Makyn Lurve – A red fawn male of good size and proportion. Particularly pleasing is his head, neck and front assembly. He has a well sprung rib cage giving him plenty of heart room with the right amount of loin. He has good solid hindquarters, but today his hind movement was not so hot. Had no doubt about giving him RBOB. 2nd Morgan’s Meandi Beautiful Dreamer 3rd Anderson’s Woolsocks Red Kite

Post Graduate (5,1) 1st Whitaker-Crosby’s Mulcair Makyn Lurve 2nd Anderson’s Shoalingham Senator 3rd Nickel’s Phantoms Firefly at Blenheimgate

Open (4,1) 1st Brown’s Courthill Chain Reaction of Hazeacre – Male dog which has lots of the qualities I prefer including a good head with strong underjaw, well laid shoulders, generally well balanced and definitely the best profile mover in this class. 2nd Mycroft’s Supeta’s Loverlee 3rd Nickel’s Rowangarth Witch of the Wind to Blenheimgate

yes .they lost it because of the poor venue :( some statley home down loads of tiny lanes , it didnt help as wed been having horrendoes rain storms before hand and the show ground was just one big bog (w00t) It was a real shame as the commiittee are one of the nicest groups of people too ,and it was my nearest :- "

Harvee did really well considering the size and shape of the ring . he likes lots of room to stride out properly ;)

I remember that Leicester Ch show, when I got there a woman was digging in the mud with someones walking stick trying to find her shoe that had been sucked off by the two foot of mire. Nuff said :- "

If i remember wasnt it Editha Newton judging when it was up to your knees in mud !!!!!!
