Lexi has come to LL via a vets where she was taken when she was found wandering with some injuries. No owners have come forward for her.
She's a young fawn rough coated bitch who stands about 24-25ins to the shoulder. She's quite stocky in build and stands very square. She's obviously had some training as she's very well behaved and knows basic commands such as "sit" and "come".
She's currently kennelled with another dog and has lived with other dogs in a foster home with no problems but she's not shy of telling them off if she thinks they're overstepping the mark!
Lexi may need surgery on her tail as it's been broken, but we're hoping that can be done at the same time as she's spayed.
She seems absolutely fine with people and most dogs, but she has a VERY high prey drive (can leap over a 6ft fence to get at a squirrel from a standing start! ) so is absolutely NOT cat friendly and care will need to be taken if she goes to live anywhere near cats!
