yesterday . She swallowed it whole ! Shes ok in herself and pooped ok this morning . We saw the vet at 8,30 and she is having an xray today.

Good luck! The things mine have swallowed over the years. I'm pleased to say :) they reappeared without medical intervention! - including an entire bright yellow duster I hadn't missed. Fingers crossed.

Jasper had some abdominal discomfort after not chewing a rib bone enough - the vet could feel it, but it came out just fine (he's rubbish at digesting any bone denser than a non-free-range chicken carcass, so that's all he gets now).

He once passed a lolly stick - the short fat ones you get with Magnums three whole weeks after swallowing it

I hope Libby is fine and needs nothing more than a bit of olive oil to shift things along.

Im so glad Murphy isnt an eater although we are so careful about putting things away when we go out. Max used to eat all sorts apart from the normal stuff like a kilo of cheese and a pound of raw mince he ate a cassette tape, pair of tights, sock, model car, barbies head, and worst of all a bar of soap and a bottle of turtle was polish from which the vet gave him a 50/50 chance of survival... He vomited all night then at 8am wandered over and kicked his breakfast bowl demanding to be fed!

I hope Libby passes the bone drama free and doesnt get any bad habits..

Good news! . Shes home and they couldn't see anything on the xray . She must have regurgitated it.
Very strange cos we were a few minutes from the end of our walk and we didnt see her do it but obviously she did .
Still , All's well that ends well .
Glad I had the x ray done as it brings peace of mind.

Yup- had the bits of bone thingy- usually regurgitated of an evening on the rug. Glad that one way or another it made its way out.

Famous last words - See my post above (#4)

Got home this evening after taking a friend shopping. Murphy hid behind a chair then I heard the noise that makes us all move faster that Usain Bolt ,,, wuuuuurrp wuuuuurrrp, yep lumpy burp alert. Managed to get him outside and it turns out hes eten a bit of paper with writing on it (?) not my handwriting and some peanut shells
