Has anyone used either of these companies?

After struggling to find insurance that will cover my 12 year old dog these seem to be the 2 best options and I have no idea which one to go for. My renewal is £169 a month with More Than which we can't afford. He's in great health at the moment and has just had a check up. The only issue is he's had 2 claims within the last 2 years for cyst removal. He's also had a fatty lump removed in the past but this wasn't claimed for as vet didn't charge for that as it was done at the same time as one of the cyst removals.

We just can't afford to stay with More Than and I've seen a lot of reviews regarding their price hikes.

The good thing about Tesco is the fixed excess with no %.

Lifetime Pet Cover is £95 but you have to pay 25% of each claim.

I don't know about Lifetime but I read recently the Tesco underwriter was going to specify a preferred list of specialists if your vet should need to refer your dog on. I believe some vets felt that compromised their choice of specialists.

I think you are lucky to get accepted and would take whatever is on offer as long as you can afford it.
