We all tried to stay cheerful through the rain and the lure machine playing up, but at times it was hard. Many thanks to all who perservered!

We raced in two weight groups.

The lightweight Final was won by Xplicit, 2nd Savernake Silver Birch (racing as a 5yr old, look out you veterans next year, she's flying!),3rd Savernake Raven, 4th Dearly Devoted (Dexter's first final) Cons:- 1st Savernake Boomerang, 2nd Darkling Dragonfly

The heavyweight final was won by Darkling Sandfly (Gill was very proud), 2nd Armistice Day, 3rd Junior Spikes, 4th Savernake Blacksmith. Cons:- 1st Savernake Shogun, 2nd Ypres and 3rd The Maginot Line.

History repeated itself this year, as last year, brothers Devils Double and Cheap Thrills took the trophies, and this year it was brothers again, Darkling Sandfly and Xplicit from the mating of Gloucester club favorites Conway Celt and Time Keeper.

We also ran for the Back To Front Trophy, where the dog who crosses the line last, is placed 1st. The trophy was sponsored by last years winner Yagans Dream (i.e. Dennis and Pearl Bache) and was won by that wonderful little dog whose contribution to puppy trialling is second to none, BLITHE SPIRIT

Racing next sunday will depend on interest. Please let me know asap to give me time to cancel if necessary.

Well done to all runners & workers - what a miserable day!!! Glad it got better as the day progressed, cant believe we came all that way basically to only run Fletch and he ends up being injured :(

Thanks to Angie & Mick for the loan of Tia to run with Chyppe & as for Chyppe, if anyone has any ideas of where we go next with him then we are desperate for suggestions & we would appreciate the advice, he has had a good long rest off before that trial on sunday, but despite being as keen as mustard to actually run, has still lost the plot and almost stopped again, we wont give up with him, but am pretty willing to try any helpful suggestions :)

So nobody has any ideas atall then? :( :( :(
When Jools wouldn't chase we tied his fav toy to the lure, we gave him yummy titbits to reward him when he ran and then just ran him and ran him over and over again with other dogs until the penny dropped. Don't know how much that helps but would be willing to offer a dog to trial with whenever you want
