I got home from work today - opened the kitchen door, to be greeted by 2 wet noses ,an open crate door and ABSOLUTELY NO DEVASTATION!

o:) o:) o:) o:) o:) o:) o:) o:) o:)

my partner had forgotten to shut Dij's door after breakfast and bless his little angel socks, he'd been good all day.

Soooooo - i'm going to try leaving it open at night for a bit to see how he gets on, and if there's no resulting chaos, he can have the run of the kitchen with Audrey while we're out too

I love my whippet, i do!

Dont fall for it. They have lulled you into a false sense of security

Totally agree with Rae lmao

We thought we had it sussed with our last whippet Jack good as gold for a couple of weeks then 2 chocolate muffins vanished, our daughters Birthday cake was demolished only half of Wallace and no Grommit was left!!!, a loaf of bread (which needed a climbing course of chair to table to top of fridge) and the cat mysteriously developed a really good appetite all in the space of 4 days plus the normal bin thing :- "

But go for it you might have a good upstanding citizen of the whippet world

:D

hes kidding ya! :D dobby does this with me.his latest escapade is opening a roll top breadbin, and thieveing anything and everything thats in it!as hes a racer and is on a strict diet this can cause problems :- "

my rory was like that so let him have run of house

well he had been in fridge ate everything in there then had a go at the bin

DONT BE FOOLED they act o:) but at times are

lol! are you lot trying to tell me that far from being an angel, he was actually SCHEMING

so that i'd let him stay out on a day when there was something interesting to scavenge???

I'm shocked - surely you don't think MY whippey is that devious?

Beware, they are too cunning! I have been leaving Genevieve the run of the house for couple of months now, thinkingf she stopped being destructive- before i used to shut the dog gate in the hall, and the dogs had just the back room and access to the garden, when i went out.

Anyway, about week ago all what i did was to run out for 20 minutes and came back to 7 slats from my wooden venitian blinds nicely trimmed. Of course, they had to do the longest ones. I have not been brave enough to call the Luxaflex for a quote as yet :(
