DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHICH IS HOUND DAY AND WHAT OTHER GROUPS ARE ON THE SAME DAY? :unsure:
 
There's no classification for whippets though! :(
 
Yes , the Kennel Club in their wisdom took them off us about 6 /7 years ago when they cut down the allocation of CC `s :angry:

Utter madness :eek: as Whippets drew an average entry of 200, always the highest in the group and its the last show of the year for a get together before Christmas .We used to have super parties , but the catering at the NEC didnt like that either :(

Why they couldnt have taken one from the middle of the year when things get manic who knows , If they wanted to take one from the `central ` region why not one of the Birmingham shows .

For those with pups out October onwards it really limits the Champ. shows they can go to to qualify for Crufts the following year :(

I mean who wants to go in AVNSC??

DIDN'T REALISE THERE WERE NO WHIPPET CLASSES. A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A SHELTIE PUPPY JUST OUT BEFORE LKA AND WAS HOPING THAT PASTORAL AND HOUNDS WERE ON THE SAME DAY.

LOOKS LIKE IT'S A NO NO FOR BOTH OF US :b

:D Oh I do wish......... having both Whippets and rough collies........ they are the two groups that as far as I remember have never been on the same day at any Gen Champ show. :(

PERHAPS WE SHOULD START A CAMPAIGN. EVEN THE OPEN SHOWS SEEM TO KEEP THESE GROUPS AT OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE SCHEDULE. ONE OF US IS ALWAYS EARLY (USUALLY THE WHIPPETS) AND THE OTHER IS RIGHT AT THE END.

MAKES IT A VERY LONG DAY.
