Hey London has the 2012 Olympics. Are they having a dog show to go with it too? :cheers:

There will be an Olympic dog show but not for many breeds because there are only five rings.

I know we think our Whippets are thiefs , but Ive since found out that Beagles are MUCH worse !! (w00t) I put 2 in the back of my car and within 10 mins driving they had gotten into the show bag and eaten 6 cobs . paper and all (w00t)

Mine would win the `Lets take over all the furniture `Gold medal :lol:

I think you could run normal events with a few minor adjustments. Can't you just see Zoomie in the gymnastics :thumbsup: . Could still run track and field, I mean what are whippets, lurchers and greyhounds for. Discus and shotput could be subsituted with a frisbee and a tennis ball. Marathon could be run by the working dogs.

Shooting and archery, not a problem, the gun dogs can step up for that. Cycling would be out, but maybe we could have scooters and dressed up poddles or cart pulling instead. Swimming, Toys could do the synchronized swimming, Terriers and Poodles would be up for the diving. Might have to watch some of the chinese breeds though. Equestrian, instead of jumping, dressage and cross-country, we could have agility, obedience and tracking.

I had Beagles before Whippets and can definately confirm they are the most greedy breed on the planet. (w00t) One of mine ate a six pack of frozen pizzas and 2lb of sugar as I was unloading the rest of the shopping. :x
