I've had my whippet pup Arthur for 6 months now and he's bought nothing but joy to our family, and we truly have been bitten by the whippet bug and are looking for another one, as a companion for Arthur and to fill that gap on the sofa :)

Where we go walking and playing there is another dog owner who has whippets and seeing Arthur play with them its just so heart warming, whippets really do know there own and are so much more relaxed with their own kind. So, we're looking to expand our family.

We purchased Arthur and this time would like to see if we could resuce a dog in need. We are (preferably)looking for a pure whippet (as opposed to a cross), bitch (I hear its better to have a bitch if your other dog is male) thats between 10 weeks and 12 months old - would consider older if there aren't too many ingrained bad habits and is good with other dogs (particularly Arthur), cats (just to many in local area not to be - and Athur has a cat friend who is around a lot) and children of at least 7 years old (my human sons age :) ) Don't mind if the dog is KC registered or not (Arthur isn't) and colours etc not important.

We live in a decent sized house with good sized, secure, gardens front and back - a good sized green just out the front of the house and with large parks / country parks no more than 5 mins walk away. Home checks welcome and we will, of course, cover any costs

We live in Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire) but distance is unimportant (for us at least) and, as I say, we will cover costs for others.

Please let me know if you hear of anything

Dan
