OH MAY GOD,had a really lucky escape today with my jasmine (our touch) went to our local track to give the girls a run ,and when we got there none of our other club members were there. So i decided to take the girls for a walk around the exercise and loo paddock. There was lots of other greyhounds around and i made sure we give them a wide breth, then we passed a couple with two children and two greyhounds said hello and we carried on walking, still giving them a wide breth next thing i know one on the greyhounds on was jasmines back attacking her  ,it happened in a split second,i managed to pull her round but the bloody thing grabbed her coat,it would not let go the men had to punch it in the mouth to get it too let go.It ripped her coat to bits but thank god it did"nt bit her........ :sweating: I really shocked her and me,it turned out the dog is a retired greyhound awaiting to be reholmed but had not been muzzled WHY O WHY do people let dogs go out that should be muzzled

Really glad that there wasn't any permanent damage. Hope the bruisings not too serious and there's no psychological problems.

Hope Jasmines ok and not too upset by it all and you too Tina, its scarey when these things happen, main thing is she wasnt injured too badly, hope her bruising soon heals :luck:

Hope Jasmine is ok after her ordeal, it's a good job she had her coat on :luck:

know how you feel it happened to me at A/T club last year a guy gave his greyhound a run up and and at the finish it charged over and grabbed IZZY she was very lucky she had a thick coat on and thankfully Mark booted it in ribs and it let go sooooo scary

hope Jasmine isn't too shook up by it :luck:
