there's a nice looking fawn and white lurcher bitch at Dundalk pound, release date 11 Feb.

I don't know anything about her temperament or size; if she is whippet sized she is very like a whippet (but most lurchers are a bit larger). she has somewhat large ears, so maybe a saluki cross. she looks fairly young.

Dundalk pound rereference number: 4397

This bitch is relatively fortunate in being brought to Dundalk pound as these volunteers do their best to find rescue places for as many of the dogs as they can.

there is another nice-looking young bitch, dark solid colour, ref no 4399

apparently her owner has been in touch so may reclaim this bitch

and of course other types of dogs; I noticed a pomeranian who stands nicely and I think maybe he's just lost and the owner will show up in time??

the latest news I read is that the owner of the other lurcher bitch at Dundalk pound not only reclaimed her but took this one along as well. Hope it all works out for them.
