South Glos Council Dog Wardens currently have 3 lurchers in our kennels, all unclaimed after 7 days and available for rehoming. Please check your lost records to see if anyone is missing these beautiful chaps. Also, due to the saturation of lurchers at the moment, if ANYONE can help us with rehoming them PLEASE get in touch, we are desperate to find them good homes and are so far unable, time is running out...

Entire male adult Lurcher. Black longish (wolfhound style!) rough coat but soft not wirey. Grey hairs intermingled with white line under chin, white on chest (but not joined to white on chin) and all four feet white.

Calm and loving nature, absolutely adorable.

Found 26.05.05 near Yate, South Glos. Well cared for when found, with brown greyhound collar.

Have already tried him in a home but was returned as a cat hater despite being perfect with small children, other dogs and housetrained.

Entire male adult lurcher. Brindle with white blaze on chest and white toes on back feet. grey hairs around muzzle.

Found 09.06.05 in Hambrook (just off M32), South Glos in emaciated state and highly dehydrated with sores on chest. Bouncy and happy nature.

Entire male large adult greyhound lurcher. White with tan patches around both ears, on back and base of tail. Old deep scratches all around face and legs, old deep scars on hind legs in particular.

Calm and loving nature

Found 25.03.05 in Bradley Stoke, South Glos.

Returned rehome after killing two cats that went into HIS OWN garden, despite being excellent with young children, other dogs and already housetrained.

Please help, contact South Glos Dog wardens on 01454 863824.

Thank you
