Hi i am new to the site so i hope i am doing this right! I have recently lost my last dog due to illness and i am now looking into getting a new puppy in the next few months. Please can anyone advise me on breeders of lurcher puppies i would like a puppy as i have to children and 2 very large male cats. I would be happy with either smooth or long coat. I am based just out side glasgow but we are happy to travel within reason. :)

Hi jenn - your post has had 135 views, but not one reply... :(

Why don't you look at adopting an unwanted or rescued lurcher pup? Just type in rescue lurcher (or similar) into Google. I am sure you will find plenty :) Also, you will find some on Greyhound rescue sites. I don't know of any specific breeders tho'

Good luck & do come back with photos if you find your forever friend :)

This is a good idea - there are so many poor little pointy faced people out there that need loving homes.

Try Scrupples Rescue - they always have lovely dogs needing home
