Sounds good-Is it ferret racing or showing?

I've just made £200+ this afternoon after collecting sponsors for our ferret to go down a teachers trouser leg from the school where I work!

A brilliant success-the kids and grown ups both- loved it!

They even featured the attraction in our local paper.

Ideal charity stunt.

Well first of all....how bloody silly to have 2 Astleys!

Obviously we firstly went to the wrong one! Astley Park-

then finally after what seemed like hours found the real one-

bike race, traffic, diversions etc... made this a real thrill

Found the Gin Pit eventually but had missed most of the programme by then-

Lots of fancy driving in the car park-bumps etc..not by us  a christening was on in the club-had to queue for days for toilets and a drink anyhow..............(the bitter was good)

Good venue/club though-for weekend events etc-

Some interesting ferrets and what a range of Jack Russells! etc..

Oh and yes of course the directions were all my fault!

Steve drives down south and up to the north east all the time with no problems and today on our own patch he listened to me (w00t)

Says I'm one useless bast--d

There he's happy now.

Terrier racing winner - read winner as in completed the course before getting beat up by another terrier

I'd have happily taken this little dog home with me

The kids ride owner went home rubbing her hands together though and i went home with a lighter purse (w00t)
