Todays Meeting was the last of this season, Runners were met by a field in near perfect condition and bright blue skys.

Going into todays meeting there were three dogs chalenging for the Top spot overall on points, these being Wheres My T, El Diablo & Born To Run.

A very tight course of around 300yds was set up with 10 turns meaning dogs were going to be tested to the limits and needed to realy turn well to have any chance of winning.

Hi Mark, i bet you already noticed your little error, But Lilting Leah beat Floyd's Girl :( in the main semi. Meal was great bye the way. :)

Today was an excellent end to a really nice lure coursing season, made all the better by my 2 lunches..strange im starting to feel hungry again (w00t)

Sorry  mean to say well done to Rebecca and wheres my T

it really was a nasty fall today, he did well to carry on competing.

hope we all have as much fun in the upcoming racing season

Hi Cheryle was the error putting the wronge dog down or getting the result wronge? (your standing near Joey to much :- " )
Jo Glad you enjoyed your grub (and anything else you could get your hands on ;) ) it's been a great year with some realy good top class runs.

this being our 3rd year running (wheres does time go!) we seem to be going from strenth to strenth.

Thanks Mark for a very good season of lure coursing. The way in which Magic came on during the season was good to see. From a dog who wouldn't go past the first bend to a dog who wanted to run in every course! His confidence has grown enormously. Thanks also for a good meal, even if I only had half of that which Joanne had! Heres to the next season. :) :)

Hi Dennis, I don't think anyone would argue that the most improved dog taking part was Magic.

From the little dog as youve said who refused to chase then refused to compleat the course he has come on beyond beleaf to the keen up for anything dog he is now.

well done for all your patience.

:)) Hi Mark. Just like to say how much I enjoyed reading your report and the comments. It seems that you have a really friendly set up going. I would like to think that Iicould come and observe at some time or take part if you feel the need to have some real class taking part :D . Well done

Lamping man

your always more than welcome, would you need directions past Watford :- "

or take part if you feel the need to have some real class taking part
umm who's dog would you borrow
Cheers Lampy for the comments we realy do have a good atmosphere and some realy nice people that take part who turn up to see there dogs run and enjoy themselves rather than having to win all the time.

you are as I said more than welcome anytime if you ever find yourelf in this neck of the woods.

must go now as i've got buttys and a flask to get ready for the 1st of my 3 days at the Waterloo Cup (watching those good strong NORTHERN hares)

see you soon

The Good looking Northern Bloke who follows in the foot steps of the great Northerners such as the great Bernard Manning!

hang on the wifes doing the buttys, Oh you Southern lads must miss having good women ;)

Bloody cold (brass Monkey Weather) drizzle but some great coursing from some top class dogs, a realy great bunch of lads (and lasses) that make the day the best it could be.

back again tommorow for day 2.

see you all there (those that are going, give me a ring and we'll meet up)

i'll be sat next to the bloke in the camo jacket

Thanks Mark,Cheryl the kids and me have really enjoyed the last few months Im looking forward to the racing season, and better weather. Thanks to everyone at the club for making us feel welcome. One more thing Mark,Max didnt take it to heart you calling him the big black crap one.

Hi Gary

it's not that he's realy crap or ugly but he has got some stiff competition that little black and white bitch ;)

well the buttys are packed the flask is made i'm full of flue but it's off to day 2 of the waterloo.

What a nice black dog Where's MyT.

How big is he. Are there any height or weight restrictions in UK lure coursing?

Hi mate, theres no restrictions in the one I run, enter turn up have fun are the only rules.

Well heck! You just never know. I might just do that.

You could hop a plane and come Whitetailed Jackrabbit coursing with us in Wyoming, last two weeks in April.

(It will still beWinter there.) Only the tough hares make it through the Winter and the coursing can be good if the weather co-operates.

I suppose your hare coursing is about done for this year. All US coursers hope the sport in England survives the anti attacks for many more years.
