There aree still a few places left for the whippet stake for this meeting.

anyone interested in running a dog should either ring me on ~ 07903 624876 or e/mail ~ lurecoursing@parkstonewhippets.co.uk

With this being a new venue for the meetings we've been keeping a close eye on the ground conditions, i'm happy to say that despite the dry conditions the ground is in perfect condition, nice and soft with a good covering of grass, the groundsmen have agreed to leave the grass quite long to acomodate the lure coursing.

ENTRYS FOR THE WHIPPET STAKE CLOSE 23rd JUNE, (other sighthound entrys accepted on the day.

Any Whippet winning 3 Main Stake Finals will be a Lure Coursing Champion.

Could you post directions from the M6 please Mark? Are you running any trials , as I may try my two out behind the lure?

here are the directions

Leave the M58 at jnc 4, at the roundabout (from Liverpool turn left, from Wigan turn right)

at the 1st roundabout turn right,

at the next roundabout turn right

at the next roundabout go straight acrooss.

take the 1st slip rd on your left and join the new rd.

at the next roundabout turn right

next roundabout turn left (elmeres Green)

take the 2nd right and follow that rd till you reach the foeld.

sounds conplicated but it's not realy.!

Heard a rumour that someones putting it around that the field were useing for lure coursing isn't safe.

Here a pic of the lure coursing field as you can see it's got a good covering of grass and is nice and flat.

THE LURE COURSING FIELD

No i've asked them to leave it long for this meeting so as to fully test the dogs abilty as sight hounds (physicly & mentaly)

Due to unforseen Circumstances Lure Coursing will now be at Coppull.
