MAC

Mac is a 20 month old greyhound boy. He is a big black boy who has sadly had a hard start to his life and needs some TLC. His coat is rather poor and patchy at the moment, but this will improve with some good food.

Mac is a lovely fella, very affectionate and friendly to people despite his rough past. He is very grateful for any bit of fuss you give him and quietly soaks it all up, and with his big, soft eyes its very difficult to stop! Mac has never raced so has the potential to be cat trainable. This will be tested thoroughly before he can go to a cat home, but people with cats are free to place a reserve on him. He is very good with the other greyhounds in the kennels.

This very sweet boy is currently being kenneled in Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure. Gentle Mac really deserves a loving home to call his own.

**UPDATE 05/2010**

Mac has now travelled across to Norfolk, UK where he sharing his new foster home with a cat to see how he does with living in close proximity to felines. If he passes this final stage in his cat training, Mac will be deemed as suitable to live in a home with cats.

Mac is SUCH a sweetheart, and has won the hearts of everyone who helped care for him while in kennels in Ireland. He truly adores people, and will soak up all the attention you give him. He is friendly and open to everyone, including strangers, and though he craves affection he is not pushy or boisterous about asking for it. One look at his big, pleading eyes is enough to melt the strongest of hearts.

Mac is a very special boy and deserves his forever home now, after having such a tough start to life. He has a lovely black coat with snowflake flecks, but sadly has quite a lot of scars as old reminders of his harsh past. It is time Mac got some comfort in his life and has a chance to experience the joys of soft sofas and squeaky toys.

If you are interested in adopting Mac, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. We dont think you will regret it!

Mac is settling nicely in to his new foster home, and is getting on very well with the resident guinea pigs, as you can see! He is showing all the signs of being a cat friendly boy.

This is the sweetest greyhound boy i've met in a long time. If i had the space i'd have taken him in a heartbeat! One meeting is all you need to fall head over heels in love with this boy, and we dont think he will be waiting long for his forever home. He loves everyone and everything, including the fosterer's children.

Mac is now finally getting to enjoy the home comforts, and is relishing all the attention he's getting now. He is fast learning to be housetrained, and is well behaved and non-destructive in the home.
