MAC
Meet Mac, a special little greyhound. Mac is a 2 year old medium sized boy of slight build. He was rescued from bad conditions in Ireland and sadly still has the many scars to prove it. He came to us in awful condition with a dull coat, terrible scars and an open wound which will take time to heal fully. After several months of TLC he now has a lovely black coat with snowflake flecks, and is almost fully recovered.
Despite what he has been through he is THE sweetest, most adorable boy you could wish to meet. He loves people and is very grateful for any bit of fuss you give him . He quietly and gently soaks up all the attention you give him, and with his big, soft eyes its very difficult to stop! Everyone who meets this boy falls in love, he is in every way the perfect dog. He is dog, kid, cat and even guinea pig friendly, walks brilliantly on the lead, has good recall, travels well and is non-destructive in the home. What else do you need!?
Mac dotes on the two children in his foster home (age 5 and 7) and co-exists happily with their cat and guinea pigs. He is excellent in the car, on the lead (he will be able to go off lead once bonded with his new family and in a safe area) and with other dogs and is clean in the house and can be left up to 4 hours with two nice walks a day.
We are looking for a home with at least one other dog for company as Mac developed separation anxiety in his previous home and also broke a toe which is now fully healed. This poor little lad has been through too much in his short life and we are looking for a very special home for him now.
He is very puppy-like and loves to play when he gets to know you. He likes nothing better than snuggling up to you on the settee and settles really well at night although he does prefer to sleep in the bedroom with you!
Mac needs a special family who can offer all the love and cuddles he needs as he has had a run of awful luck and things need to change for the better. The family adopts this little lad will be very lucky indeed.
Mac is currently in foster care in Noroflk, UK. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
If you are interested in adopting the amazing Mac, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our adoption application form and information pack. Thanks!
