It's official! Max had his stitches out today and the head vet looked at the x-rays of the skull fracture and leg break etc and Max is officially better, all the bones have knitted back together beautifully, over the next 6 months they will get stronger. We can start to built up his walking again now the loose screw is out, and we are officially discharged!

Obviously he still has to be careful - no jumping out of cars, doing stairs or crazy running, but he is as near to as good as new as he is going to get.

And a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 10 months!

Thats fantastic news Claire and just the news you need after yesterday

Its been a long time but maybe next year Max will be able to show them all at the greyhound show at Perry Bar that he is back and as good as ever.
