Worcester Whippet Racing Club is holding a bend open on Sunday 26th February 06 for the Malcolm Jones Memorial Trophy at Warwick Greyhound stadium, Emscote Road Warwick.

Classes up to 21lb, up to 26lb up to 31lb and up to 36lb dogs and bitches seperate

Veterans and Yearlings up to 24lb, up to 28lb and up to 36lb Proof of age reqd.

All to race from Whippet traps

40lb and No Limit scratch to race from greyhound traps

Lurcher classes under 23' and over 23' all from level break from greyhound traps

weigh in until 11.00 am entry fee £3.00 per dog

£3.00 per person entry into stadium (under 16yrs free)

as the original post says this open is a WORCESTER club open not a BWRA regional open and to clear up a few rumours that I have been rang about today it is still on!

Worcester as a club is still running. The BWRA Mid West region has closed

Worcesters 2 day open in August is also still on.

The only open to be cancelled is the one that the BWRA Mid West region holds in November on the bends!

Warwick cancelled due to problems with the lure that cant be fixed in time for this weekend.

perhaps we can run when i have consulted with w news after the straight season at the end of the year at a different track!

No one spotted my deliberate mistake then! (only Mr Hutchings)

the BWRA region closed is the West Midlands NOT the Mid West.

then Mid West is the new region we are joining (if they will still have us? after Ive closed the region !
