Wasn't there this week to partake of Gill's yummy birthday cake for the Conway Celt/Timekeeper litter. There was I hear a human and doggy version. Hope you saved me a bit Gill? Axl can't read, so he doesn't know there was cake for him!

I got the results from June so if there are any mistakes, please blame her! (you can see my management course is working, I've learnt to delegate!!)

Lightweights:-

Heats: Devils Double, Nowt like The Devil

Final: 1st Devils Double, 2nd Nowt like the Devil, 3rd Whiphaven Mighty Smidge, 4th Conway Tear.

Cons: Bee United, Whiphaven Moondust.

Heavyweights:-

Heats:Fly the Wind,Spennells Valley

Final: 1st Darkling Sandfly, 2nd Armistice Day, 3rd Spennells Valley, 4th Fly The Wind.

We had a lovely day today. We enjoyed the party and the yummy cake for the 'birthday boys and girls', and some great racing also! Well done to Zephyr for winning the H/W final on his birthday! :cheers:

We had a lovely day today, the sun was shining and pups had a great time meeting everyone and all the dogs. They especially enjoyed Gilly's dog cake, and I had 2 slices of the human cake :lol: So I had your slice for you Julie!! :lol: Racing was fun and friendly, and puppies all trialed well.

Love the photos Rob, especially the ones of my babies - they did enjoy that cake! The final ones were interesting too, just shows how they can change places very quickly in a race.

Sorry you had to go Barbara and Alan, hope everything is OK :huggles:

What a lovely day we had at Glos. yesterday. Thanks everyone for a great REAL whippet racing day, lots of laughs good friends, good fun and wONDERFUL racing. So sorry Alan and Barb. had to go..hope all not too bad..So sorry Lesley and Judy and Nigel weren't there but it was a memorable day for Zephyr on his birthday, I am SOOO proud of him. Thanks Rob for FAB racing pics, They are marvellous. How amazing how he positions change in a race. Thanks again all, see you next week.

Sorry we couldn't stay for the cakes Gill. I don't understand why you lot didn't let Geoff actually take a bite of the dog one - aren't I nasty I would have and then told him. (w00t) Bet that he'd have said how lovely it was whilst thinking how odd it tastes of liver and stuffing the rest in Sam's mouth. (w00t)
