MATTHEW
Matthew is a male greyhound lurcher with a healthy, glossy black coat. We think he is about 2yrs old but he was found as a stray in Ireland so we don't know his age or background.
Matthew is a lovely, affectionate boy and, as you can see in the photo, he is definitely cat friendly! Matthew has lived in a home for a while now, and is therefore used to that environment and is also house trained. He gets on well with other dogs once he knows them and can be homed either with another dog or as an only dog.
We feel that Matthew would be best homed with an experienced sighthound owner who is happy to continue his training, as he can get excitable when he sees other dogs whilst out on walks. This is improving and Matthew will make a lovely, rewarding companion to anyone willing to work more on this issue.
He is currently in a foster home in Norfolk, which he shares with another dog, and can be transported to anywhere in the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up.
~~ KERRY GREYHOUND CONNECTION ~~
Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 40 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.
Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
We can be contacted via PM or through any of the following:
